Lisa from Cwm Connell contact United Studios as her website was in need of some love. Lisa wanted to be able to customize her website herself but also gain a better search engine presence for specific targeted keywords. We worked with Lisa to design and develop a brand new website along with new copy which was marketed to help deliver search engine results.

The Old Cwm Connell

Working with Cwm Connell presented a number of challenges that we were keen to get involved with. The existing website was tired and cluttered. Navigation was confusing and there seemed to be no clear user journey through the website.

Lisa wanted to have a website which would allow her to log in and change images and content herself. Lisa also wanted to be able to monitor the statistics on her website, which pages were popular, how people were finding Cwm Connell.

We worked with Lisa to understand her objectives with the project and worked to design and develop a new stunning website. One primary objective of the website was to ensure customers knew that Cwm Connell was dog-friendly.

The New Website

We worked with Lisa to create a more visual and engaging website for Cwm Connell. The new website has clear navigation structure and good page structure. It has been developed to work across mobile and desktop devices and provides access to everything a customer needs to make a reservation.

We made the cottages the centre point of the website, using striking photography to show off the amazing cottages that Cwm Connell has to offer. We integrated instant direct booking via a third party vendor on each cottage page.

The design has a new clean and polished feel, images are now the focal point of the website. The website copy was amended and written by our team. We worked with Lisa to find relative keywords which would generate results.


The Results

We launched Lisa’s brand new website in January 2018. Since then Lisa has seen a dramatic increase in traffic to her website.

The search engine results have improved well above our expectations and Lisa is now a competitive listing on the Google listings for a number of targeted keywords.
